Our members run programs, host events and provide services that impact the lives of youth in our community everyday. We support them by coordinating these efforts and filling in the gaps. White Oak Elementary School Pre-KindergartenThe White Oak Elementary School Pre-Kindergarten Program is designed to provide high quality educational experiences to enhance school readiness for eligible four year old children. By September 2018, 50% of entering Kindergarten children will demonstrate school readiness as measured by the North Carolina K3 Assessment. Project: the funds from the grant would be used to purchase a partial list of the required furnishings as mandated by the NC Pre-K Program Guidelines for the additional Pre-Kindergarten classroom that would target middleclass poverty families in a rural, low wealth district in northeastern North Carolina.
